Welcoming Jenn Aither

When Jenn Aither opened her first Town Square Lobby Artist Show earlier this year at our community center, she unexpectedly found herself starting a whole new chapter of her life. And Town Square started a whole new chapter, too.

The fit could not have been more natural. Since her first show, Jenn has created a community interactive painting at the Town Square Open House, is creating a painting (to be auctioned off) right on the course at the Tee Up for Town Square Golf Outing, is leading an upcoming abstract painting workshop at Town Square Tap, and her company Aither State Farm Agency is a Platinum Sponsor of Town Square’s 2021 Events.

This month, Jenn joined the Town Square Board of Directors. “After spending time with the people who work and volunteer there, I came to realize what a gem Town Square is for the community,” she said. “It’s been in the back of my mind to get more involved.”

Jenn’s love of Green Lake began when she moved here at age 10. She later graduated from Green Lake High School in 1988. After college, Jenn went off to seek her fortune when she landed a job with State Farm Insurance Agency in San Francisco. Always hustling, Jenn’s career took her to Chicago, Bloomington, IL and Milwaukee, but her heart belonged to Green Lake.

“It was always my vision to make my way back to the area and in 1999 State Farm offered me an agency in Ripon,” Jenn says.

Happily, she accepted and opened her agency in 2000. Four years ago, Aither moved back to Green Lake and became involved with Town Square through her art. As an artist, Jenn is known for her large-scale, vibrantly colored abstract paintings and fun teaching style.

Jenn’s appointment to the Town Square Board comes at a time of great momentum for the organization and she can’t wait to dig in.

“My passion for helping has been reignited, I have the time to jump in, give back to Green Lake and help Town Square move forward,” she said. “I am super excited for the opportunity!”
